A series of photographs and interviews that unpack the impact and changes in relationship dynamics as a result of Perth’s lockdown period in March 2020.
“I started taking photographs at the start of lockdown as a way to unpack and make sense of what was happening. My subjects are the people I felt most connected with at that time, whose unique experiences I was watching unfold online through social media. This process has helped me to heal, overcome, and move to a place of greater appreciation for my own relationships.”
This project by emerging photographer and director Melle Branson explores these themes and insights through considered portraits of people in their place of isolation.
